If you have not then I recommend playing your first game on newbie. If you have played Endless Space I recommend starting on Easy difficulty. On easy war will be declared but often the resulting attacks are kind of weak. This allows you to discover the game at your own pace. On newbie difficulty it is very unlikely that the AI will declare war on you. In Endless Legend the AI actually gets вЂdumberвЂ™ if you lower the difficulty below normal.
